SENSEO® Flavors ‒ it’s not just the coffee that’s made to taste
Having the courage of
your convictions to take innovative ideas through to reality is one of the
qualities that Philips looks for in its employees. For Edouard Schinkel, bringing

start up his own company ‒ with the full approval of
Philips, of course. Read more about the Philips SENSEO® flavors launch

Report from America ‒ forging links in the supply chain
When Philips
acquires new companies, it’s important that it links them in to the same
best-practice business methods and systems used in the rest of the
organization. However, it’s essential to do it in a way that respects the newly
acquired companies’ individual identities and strengths. In the area of supply
chain management, forging those links between Philips and the Genlyte group in
North America is the job of Senior Director John Angelo. Read more about Philips and forging links in the supply chain.
Giving Philips working parents a helping hand

Lighting up the experience
There is no
doubt that the Dutch Golden Age painters knew how to
use light. You only need look at Rembrandt’s Night Watch
to
realize how light can be used to create theatrical effect, to guide the eye and
add to the narrative. Now, with the advent of high brightness LED lighting,
architects and designers have untold freedom to paint entire structures with
light or create narrative spaces that immerse you in the drama of the event and
the quality of the experience. Rowena Preiss, Creative Director of Philips
Lighting talks to Touch Opportunity about her work in design for narrative
environments. Read more
about using light to heighten people’s experiences.
